The Best of Kansas (CD) New/Sealed CD

  • New/Sealed CD
  • Jewel Case
  • 1999 Sony/Epic
  • Remastered by Jeff Glixman and Vic Anesini
  • John Elefante's (Mastedon) Former Band

Formed in Topeka, Kansas in 1970, this groundbreaking band's complex and classically influenced music is still a staple of rock radio 20 years later. First released in '84, the Best of Kansas is a consistent best seller, with over 4 million copies sold so far. This updated edition features original artwork and is highlighted by 3 tracks - chosen by the band - that did not appear in the original LP release: "The Pinnacle," "The Devil Game" and "Closet Chronicles."

In 1984, on the retrospective collection The Best of Kansas, Elefante wrote the album's one new track, "Perfect Lover". That same year, he left Kansas, along with Kerry Livgren and Dave Hope.
