We just played and tested it prior to sending you our comments. It plays perfect. Not a single pop. This is hands down the cleanest version of this super rare Christian Metal album we've ever come across. The vinyl itself is MINT. The insert contains an ever so slight bump on the bottom right and would be considered NM by even the most Conservative collector. The outer jacket (cover) is also NM with only on 1\/8 inch corner bump on the bottom right and top right, the side that you pull out the record. There is absolutely not a single seam splat and not even chipping where the print sometimes starts separating on the spines. The end spine is 100% perfectly readable which is usually the first thing to go on these cardboard jackets. The plastic on the front shows some rubbing that at first made me think that there was a bit of ring wear, but nope. It's only on the shrink and very minimal at that. For a 37-year-old record it's stunning. Your going to be particularly pleased that this vinyl makes ZERO sounds on playback. Sounds like a CD. The shrink on the outside has protected this release from wear. It's also been houses in a 4 mil poly sleeve and the insert have been kept inside. The vinyl is housed separately from the jacket. I will warn you... they sound incredible.  They do not sound like bad quality demos at all, they are in-fact the exact demos that Ken shopped to Atlantic, Enigma and Capitol Records looking for a mainstream deal after landing a deal with Frontline. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShout,\u003c\/strong\u003e fittingly the first demo song is a bit stripped down, more raw without all the flying guitars and straight up in your face heavy-rock-hitter. It has a really cool guitar solo version on the tail end right before the bridge. It's really great.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTimeless Love,\u003c\/strong\u003e the second song on the demo it a bit faster a more peppy that the finished album version. Ken's vocals are clear and crisp with little over-production.  Some keyboards were added through out this song giving it more of that mid-80's feel especially when the song breaks 3\/4 of the way through. No, there is no break down, don't panic. The song stops for a second and restarts, just like the album version did. This song grooves.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWithout You,\u003c\/strong\u003e the last song is heavier and much more edgier with this incredible since of urgency.  I was stunned this first time I listened to it. Ken stated that it really captured the magic and energy that often comes with your first takes of a song.  He said it's like going to Time Square for the first time with all the wow factor.  The album version, although it's great, is more like re-visiting time square. On \"Out Of The Will\" he seems to be doing his best Mike Muir impersonation (of Suicidal Tendencies, I'm specifically thinking of the song \"Institutionalized\") during the verses (okay, so there's no real rhyme scheme there anyway, but still). Similarly, on \"Among The Dead\" he takes the \"spoken word\" type of singing approach, which I personally don't like, especially on the last song. But truth be told, the songs here are better. More carefully crafted, all-around superior musicianship and even tighter lyrical structure. They grew a lot in the one year between the two albums. There's even a couple 8 minute songs, which they manage incredibly due to their growth as musicians. Admittedly, the cover of \"Space Truckin'\" (originally by Deep Purple) is a little out of place. Good cover of a great song, just kinda strange to find it here.
