Don’t sleep on this one—quantities are limited to just 500 CDs and 250 of each color vinyl, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

If you were around in 1994, you know that music was changing fast. Grunge had taken over the airwaves and many bands either adapted—or vanished. But Bride? They doubled down.

With Scarecrow Messiah, Bride gave us a masterclass in sticking to your roots. Rather than chasing what was trendy, they turned inward and pushed their own sound to the next level. The result was a ferocious, focused, and faith-charged album that delivered hit after hit—"Beast," "Murder," "Scarecrow," and more, the perfect follow-up to their amazing Snakes In the Playground.

This new Collector’s Edition CD and Limited Run Vinyl, on Girder Records, is more than just a reissue. It’s a celebration of one of Christian metal’s finest moments. With remastered audio, an expanded booklet, and two jaw-dropping vinyl variants (yes—this is Scarecrow Messiah’s first-ever vinyl release), this is the definitive version fans have waited for.

Whether you’re new to Bride or a longtime fan who saw them tear up the stage in the '90s, this release is for you.

Why You Need This Album:

First, it was mixed, mastered and engineered buy John and Dino Elefante and if you loved Snakes In the Playgorund, this was like having a Snakes In the Playground Bonus Disc.

If you ever saw Bride live in the '90s, you know the truth—this wasn’t just music; it was a metal ministry. Dale's electrifying screams. Troy’s stage-scorching solos. Together, they delivered one of the most unforgettable live experiences in Christian rock history. Scarecrow Messiah captures that raw energy—polished, remastered, and delivered in premium collectors packaging for fans old and new.

“Beast” has racked up 237,000+ streams on Spotify and Bride continues to attract over 14,000 monthly listeners. A testament to the enduring power of this iconic Christian metal band

"What Dale Thompson says,

"Scarecrow Messiah" marked the closing chapter of one powerful Bride era and the dawn of another. As a vocalist, the weight of following up Snakes in the Playground—our most iconic album at the time—was heavy. The fans had given us their love, and we knew we had to match that energy, if not push it further. This wasn’t just an album; it was the bridge between who we were and who we were becoming.

Every track was built to redefine us, a sonic leap into uncharted territory while staying true to the raw spirit that got us here. Scarecrow Messiah became the catalyst for our evolution, paving brand-new roads for us to walk—and sometimes, to run. It wasn’t just music; it was the soundtrack of change, for the band and for everyone who came along for the ride.

"What Doug Van Pelt (HM) says,

Bride’s Scarecrow Messiah is criminally overlooked in many discussions about their humongous catalog. After three initial albums with the metal of frenetic double bass drums and high-pitched wailing (Show No Mercy, Live to Die, and Silence is Madness), the band down-shifted into a groove-heavy hard rock sound that catered to their strengths.
