Album Description
A Christmas Album is the fifth studio album and the first Christmas album by Christian music singer Amy Grant, released on September 27, 1983. The album was recorded in nine studios across the United States and the UK, featuring a blend of traditional Christmas carols and contemporary Christian music. It was produced by Brown Bannister and was released by Myrrh Records, later distributed by RCA. The album was certified Gold in 1985 and Platinum in 1989. Notable tracks include "Tennessee Christmas," "Emmanuel," and "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing." The album continues to be a staple in holiday music collections.
