Before stepping into the Christian music scene, Joe English had already built a reputation for excellence. Best known as the drummer for Paul McCartney & Wings, and later performing with groups like Tall Dogs and Sea Level, Joe brought professional musicianship and soulful intensity to every project he touched. Released in 1985, The Best Is Yet to Come captures that same spirit, offering a powerful blend of faith-driven lyrics and rock precision. The album features digitally remixed and previously unreleased tracks that chronicle Joe's transformation as an artist and his growing devotion to Christ, making it a heartfelt and musically rich journey through his early years in Christian music.

This album includes three songs written by John Lawry of Petra fame, adding even more significance for Christian rock collectors.
