BEYOND BELIEF COMING TO DVD AND BLU-RAY FROM GIRDER MUSIC

The Petra-filled 1980s rock drama is coming home

WILMINGTON, NC — September 2026 — If you missed Beyond Belief in theaters, your chance to see it is coming home.

Following its recent theatrical release, Beyond Belief will soon be available on DVD and Blu-ray from Girder Music, bringing the inspiring faith-based rock film to fans who weren't able to experience it on the big screen.

Set in the 1980s, Beyond Belief follows Andy, a teenage rocker determined to make it big while struggling with the loss of his father. When a mysterious voice tells him to "run," Andy finds himself pulled into a journey that challenges his ambitions, tests his faith, and ultimately forces him to discover what his life is really about.

At the heart of the story is Andy and his band, Jericho, as they compete in a battle of the bands for the opportunity of a lifetime — opening for Petra.

The film stars Carson Lueders, James C. Burns, Debby Gerber, Ryan Barnes, and Libby Smallbone. And for Petra fans, the connection goes far beyond the music.

Petra's Bob Hartman and John Schlitt both make cameo appearances in the film, while Petra's legendary music is woven throughout the story. For fans who grew up with Petra — and for a new generation discovering their music — Beyond Belief brings the band's music and legacy directly into the story.
