Quiet Riot – Metal Health (Pre-Owned Vinyl) Pasha 1983

Product Description

Originally released in 1983, Metal Health is the groundbreaking third studio album from Quiet Riot and one of the most important releases in the history of 1980s hard rock and heavy metal. Featuring the explosive anthem "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)" and the band's unforgettable cover of Slade's "Cum On Feel the Noize," the album helped bring heavy metal into the American mainstream. With its massive guitar riffs, pounding drums, soaring vocals, and rebellious energy, Metal Health became the first heavy metal album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200, paving the way for the explosion of hard rock and glam metal throughout the decade.

Released on Pasha Records and produced by Spencer Proffer, Metal Health features vocalist Kevin DuBrow, guitarist Carlos Cavazo, bassist Rudy Sarzo, and drummer Frankie Banali. The album delivers ten tracks of fist-pumping, arena-ready rock, including fan favorites "Slick Black Cadillac," "Don't Wanna Let You Go," "Run for Cover," and "Thunderbird," the emotional tribute to former Quiet Riot guitarist Randy Rhoads. With its iconic masked-man cover artwork and legendary status in rock history, Metal Health remains an essential addition to any classic metal, hard rock, or vintage vinyl collection.
