Ed Raetzloff - Drivin' Wheels (Vinyl) BLUESY ROCK a.k.a. Bob Seager, Clapton
- 70's / 80's Jesus Music
- 1981 NewPax RecordsÌ
- BlueJug
- For fans of: Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, Lynard Skynard & 38 Special
Ed had paid his dues in a group called BLUE JUG , recording two albums in the 70's on CAPRCORN RECORDS and ARIOLA and making the rounds with bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, and Charlie Daniels Band.
Ed recorded two amazing albums for the Christian market and then disappeared. Both album contain some of the best, blazin' blues guitar and southern rock. Drivin' Wheels contains an amazing version of People Get Ready that is as strong as any version of this song. For You is another great mid-tempo bluesy tune that fits with the best of Eric Clapton. But it the rockers that just bust out through the speakers. Keep the Big Wheels Turning, Drivin Wheels and This New Love show a guitar prowess unseen elsewhere in CCM at the time.
