The Rolling Stones – Exile On Main St. (Pre-Owned 2 x Vinyl) Rolling Stones Records 1987

Product Description

Originally released in 1972, Exile on Main St. is widely regarded as one of The Rolling Stones' greatest achievements and one of the most influential rock albums ever recorded. This sprawling double album captures the band at their rawest and most adventurous, blending blues, rock and roll, gospel, country, and soul into an unforgettable 18-song masterpiece. Featuring legendary tracks such as "Tumbling Dice," "Happy," "Rocks Off," "Sweet Virginia," "Shine a Light," and "All Down the Line," the album showcases the gritty, loose, and unmistakable sound that helped define The Rolling Stones' golden era.

Much of Exile on Main St. was recorded in the basement of Keith Richards' rented villa in the south of France, with additional recording and overdubbing completed in Los Angeles. Produced by Jimmy Miller, the album features Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Bill Wyman, and Mick Taylor, along with contributions from an outstanding group of musicians. Initially receiving mixed reviews, the album has since become a cornerstone of classic rock history, celebrated for its raw production, soulful performances, and remarkable musical depth. This Rolling Stones Records double vinyl edition is an essential addition to any serious rock and roll collection.
