Altar Boys – Against The Grain: 1987 to 2027
Originally released in 1987, Against The Grain has remained a standout in the Christian punk scene for four decades. Now, 40 years later, Girder Music is bringing this classic back with the Girder Treatment—carefully crafted by collectors for collectors and scheduled to be in hand and shipping in 2027.
For its 40th Anniversary, the album has been carefully remastered for CD, giving this classic recording a fresh, powerful presentation while preserving the character and spirit of the original release.
The CD includes a LTD trading card and collector sleeve, in a jewel case as well as a 12 page expanded booklet with unreleased, never before seen photos thanks to Chad Ashton and Mike Stand. Artwork has been preserved honoring the release, but with all new inner packaging, readable lyrics and more.
