Olivia Newton-John – Totally Hot (Pre-Owned Vinyl) MCA Records 1978

Product Description

Originally released in 1978, Totally Hot is one of Olivia Newton-John's most exciting and successful albums, capturing the internationally acclaimed singer during her remarkable transformation from country-pop sweetheart to mainstream pop and rock superstar. Arriving shortly after the phenomenal success of the motion picture Grease, the album introduced a more confident, energetic, and contemporary sound while retaining the beautiful vocals and melodic sophistication that made Olivia one of the most beloved performers of the 1970s. Featuring the unforgettable hits "A Little More Love," "Deeper Than the Night," and the infectious title track "Totally Hot," this classic album delivers an outstanding combination of pop, soft rock, disco-influenced rhythms, and heartfelt ballads.

Released on MCA Records and produced by longtime collaborator John Farrar, Totally Hot became a major commercial success, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and earning Platinum certification in the United States. The album features a talented group of studio musicians and highlights Olivia's versatility, from the driving energy of "A Little More Love" to the emotional beauty of "Please Don't Keep Me Waiting" and the irresistible groove of "Totally Hot." With its iconic cover photography, sophisticated production, and memorable collection of songs, Totally Hot remains an essential addition to any Olivia Newton-John, 1970s pop, soft rock, or vintage vinyl collection.
