WHAT IS RipStream™ and RipStreamNOW™
Our RipSteam Technology allows you access to digital files of your music in MP3 format (320 kbps Stereo) when you purchase a physical piece of product from us. Not all products come with RipStream™ or RipStreamNOW™
When you purchase an item with included RipStream technology, once your item ships, you are emailed a link to the digital file that you can then save and stream from your computer or any device that accepts digital mp3 formatted music.
If you purchased an item with RipStreamNOW™ you'll get instant access with a download link that is provided at checkout.
Files come in a ZIP format that you can un-zip giving you access to high quality 192 kbps MP3 files.
WHY DO I NOT GET INSTANT ACCESS WITH RipStream™
Many items with RipStream™ are pre-orders and not actually released until a late date. For this reason we only provide access once the item ships.
WHAT IF I SWITCH COMPUTERS?
If you ever lose your files or switch to another computer, you can always re-download the file. You are allowed 3 downloads.
CAN'T I JUST BUY THE MUSIC ON ITUNES?
When you purchase from iTunes or other download sites you are given a file that you can usually only play on their device. Although there is a way to convert the files to MP3 format, who wants to mess with that!
WHY RIPSTREAM OVER SPOTIFY
Spotify gives you access to millions of songs, but the bands never see anything for it. With RipSteam, we license with labels and bands to make sure that they are also paid. So when you use Ripstream you are supporting the artist and the bands that made the music in the first place.
WHERE DOES RIPSTREAM REALLY COME IN HANDY?
Now when you purchase that vinyl record you are given access to the digital file as well. No need to fumble through the set up of hooking up your record player to your computer, trying to figure out what software you need.
IS RIPSTREAM AVAILABLE ON EVERYTHING?
Ripstream is not available with all listings, only those with the ripstream logo. We have an obligation to honor our agreement and a bigger obligation to honor God in all our business dealings.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT ALBUM HAVE RIPSTREAM?
Just look for the RipStream Logo as shown above, and you'll get access to digital files once your item ships.
CAN I SHARE MY RIPSTREAM LINK?
It is illegal to share RipStream files and links. When you use RipStream you are agreeing to our terms and conditions to not share, giveaway or transfer any links.
WHO OWNS RIPSTREAM?
* * RipStream was created in January, 2019 (trademark pending) and is solely owned by Girder Media Group and may not be used without permission.
I DIDN'T GET AN EMAIL, CAN YOU RESEND IT TO ME?
Many RipStream emails end up in marketing folders, Spam and Trash folders. Please check those folder first to see if your email might have ended up there. Email subject lines will say "Here's Your RipStream" or something similar.
If you still can't locate it we are able to resend you a link within 30 days of your original purchase. However after 30 days you forfeit your right to access to the digital files.
HOW DO I USE RIPSTREAM?
Once your CD or Vinyl Record ships to you, you will be emailed a link that you can click to download to your computer. If you are on a MAC, just double click the ZIP file to open it (extract it). Then click on the extracted folder to access the MP3 files. If you are on a PC, you will need to extract the file. You might need Zip software such as WinZip.com for a PC. If you have an iPhone or iPad you will need to download iZip from the App store to access files on a iPhone or iPad.
