Product Description
Originally released in 1980, The Game is Queen's eighth studio album and one of the most commercially successful recordings of their legendary career. Featuring an extraordinary collection of rock classics, including the chart-topping hits "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," along with fan favorites "Play the Game," "Save Me," "Dragon Attack," and "Need Your Loving Tonight," the album captures Queen at the height of their creative powers. Blending powerful hard rock, infectious funk rhythms, rockabilly influences, and unforgettable vocal harmonies, The Game showcases the band's remarkable versatility and musical innovation.
Released on Elektra Records and produced by Queen alongside Reinhold Mack, The Game marked a significant evolution in the band's sound, introducing synthesizers into their recordings for the first time. Featuring the legendary lineup of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon, the album became Queen's first No. 1 album in the United States, spending five weeks atop the Billboard 200. From the irresistible bass line of "Another One Bites the Dust" to the rockabilly swagger of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and the soaring emotion of "Save Me," this classic 1980 release remains an essential addition to any Queen, classic rock, hard rock, or vintage vinyl collection.
