Stavesacre - (stāvz’ā’kər) (New 2 x Vinyl) Tooth & Nail Records

Product Description

Originally released in 2002, * (stāvz’ā’kər)* is the powerful self-titled fourth studio album from Stavesacre, one of the most influential bands to emerge from the Christian alternative rock and post-hardcore movement of the 1990s. Featuring the unmistakable vocals of Mark Salomon, emotionally charged songwriting, massive guitar riffs, and atmospheric arrangements, the album showcases the band's evolution into a more expansive and sophisticated alternative rock sound. Featuring standout tracks including "Witch Trial," "Blind Hope," "Alice Wishlist," "Island," "The Sad Parade," and "World to Wait," this remarkable recording remains a fan favorite and an important chapter in Stavesacre's musical legacy.

Now, more than two decades after its original release on Nitro Records, * (stāvz’ā’kər)* receives an extraordinary new presentation through Tooth & Nail Records in partnership with the band and Craft Recordings. This 2025 Limited Edition Purple & White Double Vinyl features a completely new remix and remaster, created after the original recording tapes were recovered following years of searching. Steve Dail meticulously remixed the album, giving these recordings new depth, clarity, and power. Pressed across two 45 RPM records for an enhanced listening experience, this deluxe edition also includes the rarely heard Stavesacre cover of The Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black," an embossed front cover, and a retrospective essay written by the band. Limited to just 900 copies worldwide in the Purple & White configuration, this long-awaited first-ever vinyl edition is an essential addition to any Stavesacre, Christian alternative rock, post-hardcore, or collectible vinyl collection.
