Crumbacher was founded by Stephen Crumbacher and his high school friends in attempts to target the Christian youth. This new-wave, keyboard driven sound was produced to evangelize teenagers; however, it sold well with Contemporary Christian adults. Thunder Beach, their second album, was released in 1987 on Frontline Records.
