Christian thrash bands are on the rise and have been for some time.  Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeth were obviously the big boys of mainstream/secular metal selling out arenas for years, but Christian Metal offers just a good of quality and Thrashiness as those mainstream bands.

Thrash (metal) is an aggressive and often fast tempo for of Meal. The songs usually use fast percussive beats and low-register guitar riffs, overlaid with shredding-style lead work.  The genre evolved in the early 1980s from combining the fast drum beats and attitude of hardcore with the double bass drumming and heavy, complex guitar style. It emerged partially as a reaction to the more conventional and widely acceptable glam metal, a less aggressive, pop music–infused heavy metal subgenre which appeared simultaneously. Thrash metal was an inspiration for subsequent extreme genres such as death metal and black metal.  And while I don't 100% agree with Wikipedias definition that I just stated, it's really close to being accurate.  Anyways it's much better if you just enjoy the music rather than try to define it.  After all, we all know the music that moves as and Thrash has that incredible ability to take you out of a bad mood while simultaneously taking out your aggression if you are in a bad mood. 

If you are just getting into Thrash Metal it's an absolute must the you invest your hard earned dollars on these 66 or so Christian Thrash Bands. But start with Vengeance, Deliverance, Betrayl, Bride, The Crucified, Living Sacrifce, Arnion and Boarders.
